Remoot operates an online platform where business or individuals (“Clients”) can post jobs and business or individuals (“Candidates”) can apply for the jobs. Please read this Privacy Notice carefully. It describes how we may collect, use and share personal information obtained through our website, our mobile application, or through other online and offline means (the “Service”).


When you register on the Service, you expressly consent to the terms of this Privacy Notice and to the information practices described below. Once you’ve registered, you may revoke your consent at any time. You can revoke consent to certain information practices by visiting your account. You may revoke your consent to all information practices by deleting your account, as described below.


We may change our information practices from time to time. You can always see the latest version of this Notice posted on our website or in the app store. If we make material changes, we will email registered users about the changes. If you do not agree to the changes, you should not use the site once they are effective. Third Party Sites and Social Plugins

The Service may contain links to other websites and social media plugins like Facebook and Twitter, among others. The privacy policies of those third parties - not the Remoot Privacy - will apply any information you submit or post to those third-parties. What Information Does Remoot Collect and How Does Remoot Use It?

Remoot may collect personal information about you in different ways and for different reasons.

For Registration When you register for a Remoot account as an Candidate or a Client, you provide contact information such as your name, address, email address. We use this information to:

provide the Service to you, including customer service, communicate with you about the Service, facilitate communications between you and another user. We also may send you email newsletters or information about Remoot products. If you do not want these promotional messages, you can unsubscribe directly within the email, or send us an email at

For payment We may collect bank account or credit card information once a job is complete to facilitate payment from a Client. Remoot does not process or store your credit card information. We use a third-party payment card processing company to process payments. This third party has committed to processing your payment card information in a secure, PCI compliant manner. All information is transmitted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

To create a Candidate / Client profile Each user must create a profile before they can post or apply to a job. Your profile will include some personal information and can be seen by any other user of the Service. We only requires you to provide the least amount of information to facilitate the job process. All other information will be optional. All other users of the Remoot Service will be able to view your profile. We may also use this information to direct Candidates to particular jobs, or Clients to particular Candidates.

Member communications Remoot may log, review or analyze communications between members in order to provide the Service, provide personalized customer service (“Concierge Service”), or to facilitate the relationship between members. We may also monitor communications for compliance with our Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law. We will not use this information for marketing or advertising purposes, or provide it to third parties for any purpose other than providing the Service.

Mobile information When you use the Service via a mobile device, we may collect and process information generated by your device, such as a device ID or IP address, zip code, or your precise geolocation (based on GPS data). We will ask your permission before collecting this information.

To improve the Remoot experience Remoot may collect information about your use of the Service. We may keep a log of your IP address, the hardware and software you are using, which sites you visited before and after using the Service and how you navigated through the Service. We use this information to perform analytics, to improve the Service and the user experience. We don’t now, but we may use this information to improve the relevance of ads we serve to you in the future.

Cookies, tracking technologies and Do Not Track Cookies are small text files that our Service places on your hard drive via your browser to authenticate your access to various areas of our web sites, tailor our content to your preferences, analyze web traffic. You can change your browser settings to refuse cookies, or to warn you before a cookie is placed. Remoot also might use web beacons, or transparent GIF files to report on activity on the Service and to improve our advertising. The information that we collect through these technologies is non-identifying. While you are able to control your cookie preferences from your browser, we currently do not respond to Do Not Track requests sent from your browser or mobile application.

How We Share Information

Vendors and Service Providers We may share any of the personal information discussed above with third-party service providers so they can help us provide the Service, to communicate with you on our behalf or to analyze and improve the Service performance and experience. These service providers may include payment processors, email marketing, application hosting, data storage, or website analytics service providers. These service providers are not authorized to use your personal information for purposes other than those described above, or as required by law.

Marketing and Advertising We may use your registration information to send you promotional offers or materials from our business partners. Other Remoot Members Your personal information may be shared with other Remoot members on your profile page, or through communications via the Service.

Legal Enforcement We may also share personal information where required to do so by law or judicial process, to maintain the integrity of the Service, or to ensure the safety of Remoot members.

Transfer of Business Assets We may transfer your personal information to our successors as part of a sale, merger or restructuring. In that event, Remoot will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the successor handles your personal information in a way that is consistent with this Privacy Notice.


Remoot uses reasonable physical, administrative and technical controls to protect participants’ personal information from unauthorized access or use. However, the internet is never 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the complete security of information collected, used or stored electronically.

Your Choices

Accessing and Updating Information You are able to access, correct or update registration information by logging into your Remoot account. You are able to update or change your credit card or bank account information by logging into your Remoot account.
